Phillip J Kress, DVM
Dr. Kress is the senior partner of our practice, having joined the now retired Dr. Follett in 1974 when the clinic name
was Follett Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Kress is a Washington native, and received his DVM degree from Washington State
University in 1973. He has co-authored books and articles on the treatment and management of llamas in the Northwest.
He specializes in small and large animal medicine and equine reproduction. Phil and his wife, Nancy, have two
daughters. They have one dog, two quarter horses and a mule. Away from work, he enjoys long distance bike riding,
hunting, fishing and flying.

Susan M Fazzari, DVM
Dr. Fazzari is a Washington native and received her DVM at Washington State University in 1985. She began practicing at
our clinic that year and is now one of the practice owners. Her area of specialty is small animal medicine, where she
displays her passion for animals and the clients that bring them to our clinic. Susan is an extreme multi-tasker who
juggles many balls successfully. She and her husband Greg have four children. She is very involved in their activities
outside of work, including basketball, baseball,snow skiing, soccer, church, lots of homework and school activities. In
addition, she is a 4H leader and board member emeritus of the Blue Mountain Humane Society. Her menagerie of animals
includes two dogs, one cat, five sheep, lots of 4H lambs, two llamas, two map turtles and two beloved tortoises (who
sometimes hibernate in the basement of our grooming center!)

John C Ladderud, DVM
Dr. Ladderud is a native of Washington and graduated from Washington State University in 1988. He joined the Animal
Clinic of Walla Walla that year. In 1990 he bought in as a partner, replacing Dr. Follet upon his retirement. His
primary areas of interest are surgery (he is our orthopedic specialist) and small animal medicine. He also has many
years of large animal experience, which he still practices on a rotating emergency schedule. John and his wife, Ruth,
have three children. He has one dog and three cats. Outside of work he enjoys woodworking, basketball, bike riding,
fishing, boating and spending time with his family. |

Lori C Pritchett, DVM
Dr. Pritchett has been with our clinic since 2004. She is a New York native. She worked for over 20 years in
agricultural animal production research at the WSU College of Veterinary Medicine Field Disease Investigative Unit.
Lori and her husband Larry have three children, a son-in-law, and a grandson. They also have two horses, one dog and one cat.
Lori's primary area of interest is large animal medicine. In her spare time she enjoys Pony Club activities with
her youngest daughter, learning about dressage, and gardening.

Angelica A Dimock, DVM
Dr. Dimock is a Minnesota native who graduated from WSU in 2007 and immediately began her career at Animal Clinic East.
She worked at a wildlife center for four years and has great stories about treating bears, eagles and seals. Her
primary areas of interest are small animal cytology and surgery. Angelica has two dogs, three cats, a budgie and
several fish. She is the staff veterinarian for the Blue Mountain Humane Society. In her spare time she is active in
The Little Theatre, as a board member and actor. She also likes to hike, go wine tasting, and is an avid Harry Potter
fan.

Bret K Smith, DVM
Dr. Smith Graduated from Oregon State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in 2003. He has worked in the industry
for five years and has been with our clinic since 2007. Bret, an
Oregon native, specializes in small animal medicine. He and his wife Jill have a beautiful baby boy and two dogs. An avid outdoorsman, Bret enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare
time.
