Sheila Fergusson - Practice Manager
Sheila has been with our clinic since 1998. She is
a California native. She graduated from the
University of California at Davis with a B.A. in
Zoology and has worked with animals for 25 years.
Several years were spent at the Shasta Natural
Science Association/Carter House Science Museum,
where she started a wildlife rehabilitation
program. Sheila has two children, one cat, and one
granddog. Sheila enjoys reading, movies,
photography, family and friends. She can always be
counted on to bring the potato chips to the potluck
because she can’t cook!

Missy Knudson - Receptionist
Missy started at Animal Clinic of Walla Walla in 2003
and is now at our Animal Clinic East location. She is
a Washington native. Missy and her husband Scott have
two daughters. She also has three dogs, 5 cats, 4
horses and three goats. In her spare time she enjoys
horseback riding, walking and camping. Missy’s sense
of humor and joy for life keep the staff and clients
laughing!

Jill Thomas - Receptionist
Jill has been a receptionist at our clinic since
2004. She is a Washington native. She has three
children, two Miniature Pinschers (often at work
with mom) and five horses. Outside of work she
enjoys horseback riding and attending her
daughter’s riding competitions. Jill is a
catalogue-aholic and loves shopping for our cool
pet supplies!

DeAnn Phillips - Receptionist
DeAnn started at Animal Clinic East in 2006. She
has lived most of her life in California and
Arizona. She and her husband Scott have four
children. DeAnn has four dogs, one cat, five pygmy
goats and a llama. She enjoys reading, home
improvement projects and vacation destinations (not
often enough!). DeAnn immediately gravitates to any
puppy that comes in our doors!

Laura James - Receptionist
Laura joined our reception staff in July of 2009.
She is a native of Michigan, where she studied
microbiology at the University of Michigan. She and
her husband, Charles, have two children, one yellow
lab, two dachshunds, one cat, one gecko, one frog,
and a newt! Her interests outside of work include
gardening, home improvement, decorating, sewing,
traveling, and spoiling her pets.

Libby Williams - Receptionist
Libby joined our staff in 2011. She is a Washington
State native and enjoys living in Walla Walla. She
and her husband Kirk have 3 children, 3 cats, and 1
"pigador" (a fat lab mix). When not working on her
historic home, Libby enjoys walking the dog,
skiing, and attending her son's many soccer games.
