Dawn Barer - Licensed Veterinary Technician
Dawn has been working at our clinic since 1995. She is a Montana native. She began her career as a licensed dental lab
technician, gravitated towards animal medicine, and has loved every moment of the experience. Dawn has two children.
She and her significant other, Steven, have two dogs and two cats. Away from work Dawn enjoys spending time with
family, bike riding and cooking (if it makes your nose run and your eyes water - she cooked it! She loves those spicy
foods!) She is also a 3rd degree brown belt in karate, so watch out! |
 |
Pam Fletcher - Veterinary Assistant
Pam has been with our clinic since 2000, and has been working in the veterinary field since 1986. She is an Idaho
native. Pam and her husband, Kevin, have three children. Pam raises performance Paint and Quarter horses. In addition,
the count of animals at Pam's farm is always changing because she fosters orphaned and neglected dogs, cats and
other critters. It is not unusual to hear stories of wild birds and other wildlife co-existing with her pets. Pam's
capacity for providing comfort to animals in need is an inspiration to us all.

Elizabeth Erb - Veterinary Assistant
Liz has worked at our clinic since 2001, and particularly enjoys assisting with the large animals. She is a California
native. Liz and her husband Jerry have two children. She has three horses, two dogs, two cats and two fish. During off
time, she enjoys horseback riding, snow skiing and shopping. Liz is our practical joker - when we get a weird phone
call, the first question is always "Is this Liz??" |
 |
Cathy Notturno - Veterinary Assistant
Cathy has been a member of our staff since 2004. She is a native of New York. She and her husband Scott have four
children. They own four dogs, three cats, one snake, assorted fish and a bird named Nipper (for good reason!) Cathy is
an active member of the Walla Walla Kennel Club. Her hobbies include showing her dogs, reading, and snow skiing. In her
past life Cathy was a legal assistant so she keeps us all on our toes!

Michelle Miller - Licensed Veterinary Technician
Michelle has been with Animal Clinic East since 2005. She has worked in the veterinary field since 1994. Michelle is a
native of Michigan. Michelle and her husband Kurt have three cats, including Trio - a three legged cat that was injured
in the January '08 wind storm. She enjoys yoga, gym work outs, reading, music, wine tasting, and camping in her
spare time, and is a Blue Mountain Humane Society volunteer. Michelle can often be found kissing the kittens that come
into our clinic.

Linda James - Veterinary Assistant
Linda started with Animal Clinic of Walla Walla in 2006. She is a native of California. Linda and her husband Mark have
two children, one dog and one anti-social cat. She is still trying to figure out which one is the most trouble! Outside
of work Linda enjoys gardening, reading, and computer fun. She professes to being almost too organized!

Jennica McCoy - Licensed Veterinary Technician
Jennica has been with Animal Clinic East since 2007. She is an Oregon native. She has been working in the veterinary
field since 1999, with several years experience at a veterinary dermatology clinic. Jennica has one dog (Oden the
wonder dog) and two fish. Her off time is spent camping, shopping and watching movies with her significant other.
Jennica does an outstanding job managing East's kennel care staff in addition to her technician duties. P.S. - She
is not a morning person (provide coffee!)

Alene Cousineau - Licensed Veterinary Technician
Alene has been with our clinic since 2007, but has worked in the industry since 1986. She is an Oregon native. Alene
and her husband, Tim, have two children. They are also the proud parents of two horses, one dog and three cats.
Interests outside of work include gardening, decorating gourds, crafts and attending the kid's baseball and soccer
games. Alene loves to bake, and the staff loves it when she brings her homemade goodies to share.
